Business AI Agents ("we", "us") builds custom AI agents for UK small and medium businesses. This policy explains what personal data we collect through businessaiagents.co.uk, how we use it, and the rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Business AI Agents is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can contact us about anything in this policy at sghaith@businessaiagents.co.uk.
What we collect and why
- Contact form enquiries — name, business name, email address and the details of your enquiry. We use these to respond to you and discuss your project. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (responding to a business enquiry you initiated).
- Chat assistant conversations — messages you send to our AI chat widget, and contact details you choose to share in the conversation. We use these to answer your questions and follow up on your enquiry. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
- Analytics and advertising data — we use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure our advertising. These tools set cookies and collect usage data such as pages visited, approximate location and device information. Lawful basis: consent / legitimate interests in improving our website and marketing.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. Enquiries and chat messages are processed through our secure automation platform and delivered to us by email. Analytics and advertising data is processed by Google in accordance with its own privacy terms. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers are protected by safeguards recognised under UK GDPR such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
We keep enquiry and conversation data only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, after which it is deleted. Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of the analytics platform.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email sghaith@businessaiagents.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK supervisory authority: the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF — ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first, so please consider contacting us before approaching the ICO.
Cookies
This site uses cookies set by Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads for the analytics and advertising purposes described above, plus functional storage used by the chat widget to keep your conversation session. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking them does not prevent you from using the site.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with the date of the last revision shown at the top.
