Private AI London for Your Team, Minus the Leak
Somebody in a London office pasted the other side’s documents into a public chatbot this week, under an engagement letter that forbids exactly that. Private AI gives them the same tool on a machine in your office.
£500 per month for the software and the hardware rental. You rent the machine — you don’t buy it.
Private AI in London means an AI assistant running entirely on a machine in your own office, so prompts, uploaded documents and chat history never reach a third-party provider. We install a private LLM with chat, document search and assistants at your London premises, connect your existing sign-in and support it.
See what a private assistant would read
A short call to work out whether a private machine fits your team. No hardware is ordered until you have seen the plan.
Private chat, document spaces and assistants, running on one machine at your London premises. The only outside connection is your own sign-in.
Cloud Agents for the Phone and Inbox, Local AI for the Files
Many London businesses pair the two: hosted agents answering calls and sorting email from day one, and a Local AI machine on site for anything that must not leave the office.

The Ban Does Not Work. The Alternative Does.
Staff at London firms who need a letter drafted quickly are already using a chatbot. A blanket ban moves that out of sight; it does not stop it.

Why Private Means Physical in a London Office
London businesses handle other people’s most sensitive material under the strictest terms in the country: cross-border matters with express restrictions on third-party processing, private patients whose correspondence cannot go to a provider whose servers are somewhere else, wealth clients who ask in the meeting where their papers go. And the staff handling all of it have a chatbot open in the next tab, because it is genuinely useful and nobody has given them a private one.
A “private mode” on a public service does not answer the question a London client asks. It promises the provider will not train on the material; the material still leaves the building, still sits on someone else’s servers and still appears in your processing record. Private AI in the sense we mean it is physical: a machine on your network at your premises, running open-weight models, with the chat history and every uploaded file stored on it. When the client asks where the files go, the answer is nowhere.
The tools on it are the ones staff already want. A ChatGPT-style assistant for questions, drafting and images. Document spaces that search, summarise and compare across hundreds of files with a citation to the page. Custom assistants for the recurring memo or report. Sign-in is the Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace account each person already has, so who can see what is decided with the tools your firm already administers.
We install it on site anywhere in Greater London, checking the network arrangement first in serviced and multi-tenant buildings, import the first team’s documents and train the people using it. The public chatbot habit ends because the private one is easier and closer, not because of a memo.
One Private AI Machine, Three Tools On It
Everything runs on the one machine in London, and your team log in with the accounts they already have.
A private AI chatbot for the whole team
A ChatGPT-style assistant on your own machine. Staff ask questions, upload documents and images and work through drafts, and none of it leaves the building.
Document spaces
Files and correspondence organised into spaces. Search, summarise and compare across hundreds of documents, with a citation to the page every answer came from.
Custom assistants
The monthly report, the standard memo, the routine check — built around your workflows and running on the same machine, covered by the support arrangement.
| Document | What a London team asks for | What stays where |
|---|---|---|
| Client files under restrictive engagement terms | Search, summarise, draft against | On the machine, in your office |
| Cross-border matter correspondence | A chronology or summary, cited to the page | On the machine, in your office |
| Contracts and agreements | What clause 14 says; the differences between versions | On the machine, in your office |
| Patient or client correspondence | A draft reply in your wording | On the machine, in your office |
| Internal policies and templates | Find it, cite it, draft from it | On the machine, in your office |
| Your practice, case or CRM system | Not connected — remains the system of record | Your existing system |
From Public Chatbot to a Private Assistant at Your London Premises
Weeks, not months. Most London clients start with one team — one practice area, one department — and widen from there.
Size and check the site
A short call on who will use it and what it will read. We specify the machine and, for serviced offices and shared buildings, check how the network is arranged.
Install at your premises
The machine goes on your network anywhere in Greater London. Single sign-on connects to your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and your documents are imported into spaces.
Train on site, then support
We train the people using it at your office, then keep the software updated and the models current, with support from the people who did the install.
Where Local AI Is the Wrong Answer
We would rather lose the enquiry than the trust. Three things we tell every prospect before they sign anything.
It will not make you compliant by itself
No product can make a business UK GDPR-compliant on its own. What private AI does is remove the hardest question from the assessment — where the personal data goes. Lawful basis, retention and staff conduct remain yours.
It is slower than the big cloud models
Open-weight models on a single machine are capable for summarising, drafting and answering questions about your own documents. For frontier reasoning on hard, novel problems, the largest cloud models are still ahead. That is the trade.
It is a weeks-long install, not a sign-up
A cloud agent is live in days. Local AI needs the machine specified, delivered, installed on your network and your documents imported. Weeks, not months — but not tomorrow.
Private by Construction, Not by Policy
Nothing leaves the building
Open-weight models, documents and chat history all live on the box. No third-party AI processor and no restricted transfer for the AI step.
Your sign-in, your access list
Single sign-on with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. You decide who has access with the tools you already administer.
Never trained on your content
Your documents and conversations are not used to train or improve any model. The models arrive trained and stay that way unless you ask.
Installed and supported by us
Hardware, installation, training, updates and support from one team, with a data processing agreement covering the support access you grant us.

Private AI in London: Common Questions
What is private AI?
AI that processes your prompts and documents on hardware you control instead of on a provider’s servers. With ours, the model, the chat history and every uploaded file stay on a machine in London. Nothing is sent to an outside service to produce an answer.
Is a private LLM as good as ChatGPT?
For everyday work — summarising, drafting, extracting, answering questions about your own documents — it is capable and most offices are happy with it. It is somewhat slower, and the largest cloud models are still ahead on hard, novel reasoning. That is the trade for keeping data in-house.
Is private AI in London different from private AI anywhere else?
The machine is the same. The pressure is different: London firms tend to carry international clients, cross-border data and engagement terms that forbid third-party processing outright. A machine at your premises answers all three with the same sentence.
Can a private LLM handle a London firm’s volume of documents?
Document spaces are built for it — hundreds of files per space, searched and summarised with citations. The machine is sized for your team and document set after a short call, and a larger set means a larger machine, not a different product.
Do you install on site in London?
Yes. The machine is specified after a short call, then installed on your network at your premises anywhere in Greater London. We connect your existing Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace sign-in, import your documents and train your team on site.
We are in a serviced office. Does that matter?
It is worth raising early. The machine sits on your own network segment, and in a shared building we check how that network is arranged before the install. A question for the first call, not a blocker.
How much does Local AI cost?
£500 per month for the software and the hardware rental. The dedicated machine is rented to your business, not sold: you never buy the hardware. It is installed in your building and runs the private chat, document spaces and assistants. Local AI is for business customers only.
